On The Magic of Creativity

Creativity – is magic.

It is a form of parallel existence in the mystical realm of the chosen. It is an intuitive and irrepressible longing for similar souls amidst the crowd. It is comprised of special dreams and moments of exaltation. It is triumphs and failures. It is – the unforgettable moments of other-worldly revelations. The unexpected miracles within our hearts.  The secret, creative labor of the soul. The cause and effect of mankind’s moonlight sonatas.

Creativity – is the nostalgia for the forbidden. For that which was taken away.

It is the disquieting remembrance of the other-worldly existence which set no limits upon our spirit. It is the sensation of another light, visions of blinding and harmonious beauty…

Creativity – is freedom.

Freedom from time, from all that is personal, from the boundaries of physical reality, from the inevitable.  Freedom from the chains of destiny, fears, spiritual pain and temporal flesh.

Creativity is our weapon against the meaninglessness of existence, against the unbearable prose of life. Creativity transforms people into poets – in their verses, in their paintings, in their music, sculpture, upon a stage and in… life.

Creativity is a shield that protects from the past, the future, and the present. Creativity is that which we adore in our children.

Creativity is the hope that our world will be saved by the Man himself  -- the Creator of Love and Art upon this earth.

Creativity is mankind’s  way to challenge the heavens – a challenge of those who have been sentenced to death.

Creativity is the sincerest prayer to leave a trace behind us. It is our voluntary unconditional gift of ourselves to others and to the Almighty. The fruits of  our creativity  are eternal, they will not age and they will outlive us. They will make this a better world and will tell our story.

The magic of inspiration – just like the mystery of love – is about one and the same: about spiritual freedom that was granted to us from above and has been imprisoned for the time in the confines of the flesh. Perhaps, that is why creativity’s fruit is as inebriating as the fruit of love.

Art is the Universal Homeland. And that is why the slogan of  MAGI is: Our Homeland is Art.
